This is not necessarily new for Fall, but I am happy to see the trend extending on to the upcoming season. These are some of my favorite colors from J Brand for 170.00, found on their website:
Although J Brand is probably the best option for this look due to fit and quality, there are two big issues here. 1- will you wear it enough to justify spending 170.00 for one pair? they are not traditional jeans and you make tire of the color after awhile 2- these colors are so much fun that you need a few pairs, just one cannot possibly do.
Well, to tell you the truth, I have a few pairs of brightly colored pants and I bought them from Delias (44.50 buy one get one free) and Zara (49.99). I think they fit really well actually:
Zara: I have the blue on the right, they are pants and not jeans, but probably the best fitting pants I own. I tried to order them online in more colors but Zara hates Americans and wont let us order online. All the other countries seem to be able to.
Or I recently noticed that the Gap has some on sale 50% off orginally 70.00, but they already ran out of the green, this is what is left for now at least online that is
Urban Outfitters has a vibrant shade of green for 58.00, but in my experience these BDG do not stand up in the wash very well for 58.00 :(
Also, color-blocking is always a possibility and still a favorite of mine that I will not easily give up anytime soon. We have seen alot of color blocking lately, the same Gucci outfits everyone is wearing, but here are some non-gucci examples not all pants but nonetheless:
So while we are on the subject of colored jeans, my number one coveted color for fall is not a bright color at all it is in fact camel, like these camel J Brand jeans below:
The possibilites of Camel are truly limitless and I am absolutely loving it with black and white. Here are some looks from shopbop's look book. Simple but sophisticated, these looks can be achieved by anyone at any price (okay except for that tribal print mini skirt which is naturally sold out).
I would also add the following items into the mix:
Halston Heritage dress 117.00 at the outnet
Top Shop $36.00
Top Shop:
BCBG 158.00
Top Shop 36.00 (on the way in the mail right now
A Coral Jacket, specifically this one from Top Shop that sold out as soon as it became available. However, I am checking back every day to see if they re-stock it and I am considering calling the NYC store to inquire on it's availbility, but calling places on the phone makes me anxious
Now, keep in mind I have wanted this jacket for about 2 months and they only had it a size that was 2 sizes too big. If that were frustrating enough, found some pics of up Gossip Girl filming and you can imagine how outraged was to have missed out on this jacket when I saw the following:
Fortunately for me, I had enough intuition to purchase this BCBG Maxi skirt long before...
This photo came out and no such similar skirts would be available ever again.
Now for shoes, there are so far two pairs I am loving from Sam Endelman, the first very unlike me at it is basically a loafer, which I dont even like the word. However, these have really attracted me and I can actually see myself in them. They are 250.00 and I have a feeling they will go on sale soon because I am not sure they have any mass appeal
The second pair also Sam Endelman are also 250.00
And last for now, Kimonos. There are basically two out there which are uncomparable to any others and unfortunately pretty expensive :(
Free People: (on their website, however, made by an Australian company) for 368.00
Then of course we have one from Haute Hippie, for $695.00:
Oh and wait! I almost forgot about Tibi! As usual I love everything from Tibi
